Nathan is technology consultant specializing in product design & development (native mobile applications and web), digital marketing, digital strategy. Currently he is focused on cause based projects at the intersection of technology and humanitarian work: volunteering with the Danish Refugee Council in East Africa, and co-founding Aqulytics (a data platform for fresh water resources) in South America. Previously as Director of Digital at KCRW (NPR for Southern California), he lead digital strategy for the organization, created award winning products, and managed a department of eight audio/video producers, UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and a full stack engineer. He's experienced developing key partnerships, building brand awareness, non-profit fundraising, and creating advanced reporting.
His work has been recognized by The International Academy of Visual Arts, The Los Angeles Press Club, Wired Magazine, The New York Times, and the LA Times. His redesign of KCRW.com was awarded the 19th annual Webby Award (where he is also currently an Executive Member of the Judging Panel). Recently, "Discover Los Angeles", a contextual application made by Iconoclash Design for the LA Tourism Board, LA Arts Commission, and Metro LA, launched in the Apple App Store and Google Play in June, 2017.

Previously, Nathan worked as a Project Manager for The Design People — A design firm based in Venice, CA that specialized in providing custom internet solutions to businesses large and small.
A Los Angeles native, Nathan went to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts for visual art and went on to receive his B. A. in Sociology at UCLA (Cum Laude). He's also completed coursework in Graphic Design from Pasadena Art Center College of Design, and Digital Marketing from General Assembly in Santa Monica.
