About Nathan

Nathan is an award winning manager and product lead specializing in the design & development of native mobile applications, web, and innovative technology.

Currently he is focused on projects at the intersection of technology and sustainability: co-founding Aqulytics (a data platform for water management) and working with the Danish Refugee Council in East Africa. Previously as Director of Digital at KCRW (NPR for Southern California), he led the digital operations for the organization, created award winning products, and managed a department of eight audio/video producers, UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and a full stack engineer. He’s experienced developing key partnerships, building brand awareness, non-profit fundraising, and creating advanced reporting.

His redesign of KCRW.com was awarded the 19th annual Webby Award. Recently, Discover Los Angeles, the “official Los Angeles App” made by Nathan for the LA Tourism Board, LA Arts Commission, and Metro LA, launched in the Apple App Store (and Google Play) and currently has a 4.8/5 and over 1,000+ ratings.
